🚀 Quick Start​

Prerequisites​

  • Node.js 18+ and npm
  • Rust 1.70+ (for building from source)
  • Git for cloning the repository

Installation​

Option 1: Download Pre-built Binary​

# Download the latest release for your platform
# Windows: NeoRust-Desktop-v0.4.2-x64.msi
# macOS: NeoRust-Desktop-v0.4.2.dmg
# Linux: NeoRust-Desktop-v0.4.2.AppImage

Option 2: Build from Source​

# Clone the repository
git clone https://github.com/R3E-Network/NeoRust.git
cd NeoRust/neo-gui

# Install dependencies
npm install

# Start development server
npm run dev

# Build for production
npm run build

First Launch​

  1. Open the Application

    • The GUI will launch at http://localhost:1420 in development mode
    • Or run the installed application from your system

  2. Create Your First Wallet

    • Click "Create New Wallet" on the welcome screen
    • Follow the secure setup wizard
    • Save your recovery phrase securely

  3. Connect to Neo Network

    • Select your preferred network (MainNet/TestNet)
